The 5-in-1 Solar Battery System
Sigenergy SigenStor
One IP66-rated unit combines the solar inverter, battery power conversion system, Energy Management System, EV charging interface and gateway, supplied and installed in Mackay by Energy Base, a SAA-accredited local team.
What Is the Sigenergy SigenStor?
SigenStor is Sigenergy’s all-in-one home and light-commercial energy storage system. Instead of a separate inverter, battery, EMS unit and EV charger box, SigenStor folds all five functions into one wall- or ground-mounted enclosure — reducing cabling, install time, and points of failure.
Behind the scenes, an AI-driven EMS forecasts your household or site load and local weather to schedule charging and discharging automatically, aiming to cut your grid draw at the moments electricity is most expensive.
Energy Base has been supplying and installing Sigenergy systems out of our Paget facility since the range launched in Australia, and Sigenergy was named Australia’s No.1 home battery brand for 2025 by market analyst SunWiz.

Why Energy Base Recommends SigenStor
Five Systems, One Box
AI-Optimised Energy Management
The built-in EMS reads weather forecasts and your usage pattern to automatically time charging, discharging and grid export for lower bills — no manual scheduling required.
Whole-Home Backup
Paired with the Sigen Energy Gateway, SigenStor switches to backup power with zero-millisecond load-side disruption under Sigenergy’s published test conditions — no flicker, no reboot.
Modular & Stackable
Start with one 5kWh or 8kWh battery module and add more later. A single system scales up to roughly 48kWh, and multiple SigenStor systems can be paralleled for larger sites.
EV & V2X Ready
Add the Sigen EV DC Charging Module for bi-directional (V2X) charging — turning a compatible EV battery into extra backup capacity for the property.
Fast, Low-Fuss Install
Sigenergy’s tool-free battery stacking and wireless pogo-pin connections between modules are built for a same-day commissioning, keeping labour costs and disruption down.
Full Remote Monitoring
Track generation, storage and consumption in real time through the mySigen app, with remote diagnostics available to Energy Base’s local service team.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Sigenergy SigenStor system cost installed?
Installed pricing depends on inverter size, the number of battery modules, and whether you add the EV charging module. Energy Base provides a fixed, itemised quote after a free site assessment, so you know the exact SigenStor configuration and total cost before committing.
How much battery storage can a SigenStor system hold?
A single SigenStor system holds up to roughly 48kWh across five 5kWh or 8kWh battery modules. For larger homes or small commercial sites, multiple SigenStor units can be paralleled for up to around 960kWh of total storage.
Can SigenStor provide backup power during a blackout?
Yes. Installed with the Sigen Energy Gateway, SigenStor is designed to switch essential circuits to battery power with zero-millisecond load-side disruption under Sigenergy’s published test conditions, so connected devices shouldn’t reset.
Is SigenStor suitable for a small business, not just a home?
Yes. SigenStor’s single-phase range covers 3.0kW to 12.0kW inverters, and a three-phase option is available up to 20.0kW, making it suitable for many light-commercial sites in addition to residential installs. For sites needing more than 20kW or multi-megawatt storage, Energy Base can advise on Sigenergy’s dedicated commercial (SigenStack) range instead.
Does Energy Base install SigenStor outside Mackay?
Yes. From our Paget base, our installation team services North Mackay, Sarina, the Whitsundays, Bowen, Nebo, Moranbah and the broader Bowen Basin Coalfields.
Is Sigenergy a reputable battery brand in Australia?
Sigenergy was named Australia’s No.1 home battery brand for 2025 by SunWiz, the country’s leading solar and battery market analyst, and its inverter and battery range is Clean Energy Council listed for the Australian market.
